RYAZAN REGION STRENGTHENS BUSINESS CONTACTS WITH BELARUS

On July 21, a delegation from the Ryazan Region took part in a business forum devoted to trade and economic cooperation between the region and the Republic of Belarus. As part of the business mission in Minsk, the parties discussed the current situation and prospects for development of interstate economic activity, the possibility of expanding its formats, and participation of Belarusian partners in the implementation of investment projects.

General Director of the Development Corporation of the Ryazan Region Artem Nikitin described to the forum participants promising areas for further development of business relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Ryazan Region. Among other things, they discussed the export opportunities of Ryazan businesses and the region's needs for Belarusian goods and services. He added that for many years,in terms of the main indicators of international economic activity,Belarus has remained among the top three countries-counterparties of the Ryazan Region.
