RYAZAN REGION PRESENTS INVESTMENT PROJECT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL AVIATION AT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Specialists of the Development Corporation of the Ryazan Region took part in the IX International Conference "Airport Development – 2021" and conducted negotiations with potential business partners within the framework of the “Networking Sessions” program on cooperation in the development of route networks, and also presented an investment project for the development of regional aviation on the basis of airport "Protasovo" in Ryazan.

In his report, Andrey Strizhevsky, Head of the Investor Relations Department, spoke about promising directions in the development of the project, the logistics and infrastructural advantages of the site. Among these, he noted the proximity of the airport to the regional center – the city of Ryazan, and to the border of the Moscow region, high transit capacities, adjacency to the M5 "Ural" federal highway, a well-developed scientific base and wide opportunities for technical maintenance.

This airport functions and is registered as a landing site in the Interregional Territorial Administration of Air Transport of the Central Regions of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
