RYAZAN REGION TO INTRODUCE A REGIONAL INVESTMENT STANDARD IN YEAR 2022

The Ryazan Region is among 30 pilot regions that are developing a Regional Investment Standard in 2022. A meeting chaired by First Deputy Governor of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov focused on the key elements of the Standard, the plan for their implementation, and integration of business associations in the implementation of the strategic initiative "Fast Track for Regional Investment." Videoconferencing connected the participants with the Governor of the region Nikolay Lyubimov, his deputy Artem Nikitin, and acting Minister of Industry and Economic Development Galina Krutova.

The Governor stated, “Introduction of new effective mechanisms and using best practices will allow us to raise our work with investors to a qualitatively new level, to increase the overall attractiveness of our region. This will certainly help the region's economy to grow and create new workplaces, including high-performance jobs, and contribute to integrated development of thedistricts.”
