Governor of the Ryazan Region Nikolay Lyubimov has announced plans to create a regional venture investment fund to support innovative start-ups. He spoke about this at the Forum “From Ideas to Launches: Co-operation for more efficient results,” which took place in Ryazan on February 4. This new measure is part of a comprehensive program of activities to support start-up projects, which the region is going to launch in the near future. Its implementation will be carried out by the economic ministries and development institutions of the Ryazan Region.

Nikolay Lyubimov said, “I suggest adding another modern tool to our system of support for start-up businesses. We can create a regional venture investment fund to support innovative start-ups. This will help young developers with their projects, as they will be able to apply not only for regional development subsidies, but also for full funding of the implementation of their start-ups. This will be one of the first regional venture funds in Russia aimed at supporting innovative development.”
