JOINT VENTURE OF YANDEX, LANIT, GIGABYTE AND VTB TO BUILD A PLANT IN THE TERRITORY OF “RYAZANSKY” INDUSTRIAL PARK

An agreement on long-term cooperation has been signed by the Governor of the Ryazan Region Nikolay Lyubimov and the General Director of the joint venture Alexei Belogortsev. The ceremony, preceded by a business meeting with the participation of Elena Bunina, CEO of Yandex in Russia, took place on October 6 in Moscow at Yandex headquarters.

The subject of the agreement is the construction of a plant in the territory of the "Ryazansky" industrial park, for production of server equipment, data storage systems, gateways, and components of smart devices. The amount of investments will be at least 1 billion RUR. The construction of the production complex will also create new jobs. The JV is expected to release its first server by the end of 2022
