SKOPIN DISTRICT TO GET A NEW SCHOOL AND A KINDERGARTEN THROUGH INVESTMENT PROJECT

On February 3, the Ryazan Region Development Corporation hosted a business meeting for specialists from the department of relations with investors, a number of agencies and the administration of the Skopin District and representatives of the investor company OKTAPHARMA-PHARMIMEX. The agenda of the meeting included a discussion of the implementation of a project for building a school and a kindergarten in the village of Uspenskoye, Skopin District, and the possibility of co-funding through subsidies under the federal program "Integrated Development of Rural Territories".

The representatives of OCTAPHARMA-PHARMIMEX explained that, in order to attract qualified employees to the planned production plant, they have to offer the families preschool and secondary school facilities. Currently, the nearest school and kindergarten that operate in the area have very limited capacities.

The meeting resulted in defining the main stages and drawing up a plan of preparatory steps for an investor’s participation in a competitive selection to qualify for state support already in the current year.
